Retreat terms & conditions
Kindly read through our terms & conditions before joining a HEMMA Boutique Retreat. We are a small independent business operated with a lot of passion and energy. Please understand, that we have to make non-recoverable payments in advance in order to being able to create these unique experiences.
Reservation & deposit
For some retreats we would like to get to know you bevor hand. Please understand that the experiences are very unique and we carefully select the participants so that everyone will have the best possible experience.
With your reservation, we ask for a deposit of 500 EUR. Reservations via email or phone messages are not yet considered an official booking. Only once we have received your deposit or proof of payment, your reservation is officially confirmed. By transferring your deposit, you indicate that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions on this page. Kindly add your name as well as the name of the retreat to your payment details.
Please transfer the remaining payment no later than 6 weeks before the retreat starts to hold your spot. We will send you a reminder a week before the final payment date. If we do not receive your payment on time, we will make your spot available to those on the waitlist and you will forfeit your deposit. No refund, no exception.
You have the possibility to change or cancel your participation up to and no later than 6 weeks before the retreats starts. Changing your booking to another HEMMA Boutique Retreat is free of charge up to and not later than 6 weeks before the start of the retreat you initially booked. If you wish to cancel your reservation a cancellation fee of 200 EUR will be deducted from your deposit and we will refund the remaining amount of 300 EUR. Please send us your bank details along with your cancellation. Unfortunately, any changes and cancellations made in the 6 weeks before the retreat starts are not being taking into account and you will forfeit your payment.
Participants who cancel 8 weeks or more before the start of the booked retreat, will forfeit 100% of the total retreat fee. If you are unable to attend the retreat, it is possible for you to find a substitute. In this case, we refund you after receipt of payment of the replacement person your registration fee minus a 50 € processing fee.
In case we must cancel a retreat, we will notify you as soon as possible and you can request a full refund of your payment or you may transfer your booking to an upcoming retreat. HEMMA is not accountable for your expenses incurred in preparation for the retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, visas fees and/or other costs associated with preparation for your trip.
We want you to feel safe & well looked after during your stay and want to act responsibly towards the current circumstances. The locations offer plenty of space to practice social distancing and we keep a close eye on the health and safety regulations.
Important: All guests must be vaccinated or show a negative PCR test result not older than 48 hours.
If your government enforces a travel ban you are able to transfer your deposit to another retreat of your choice in 2021, as long as this transfer is requested up to and no later than 6 weeks before the retreat starts. Refunds due to Covid are available.
Please note that a travel ban is something different from travel restrictions and travel warnings to a risk area. For example, having to go into quarantine upon return is not a valid reason for cancellation or change and will not be taking into account.
A loving condition
Due to non-recoverable payments that we must make in advance to secure the retreat, exceptions to our policies cannot be made for any reason, including (but not limited to) natural disasters, bad weather, acts of terrorism, illness, pandemics, health conditions, medical or personal or family or work emergencies, or change of mind. If you cannot reach the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances such as (but not limited to) strikes, weather circumstances, and missed, delayed or canceled flights, retreat fees are unfortunately non-refundable and non-transferable. If you arrive late or need to leave your retreat early, you will not receive any refund on the remaining time of your scheduled stay.
Travel & health insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance or cancellation cover. Furthermore, you participate the classes, hikes and workshop at your own risk and you must employ your own judgment as to which movements, positions, and exercises are appropriate for your level of training, overall physical fitness and experience as well as mental stability. All participants are required to have international health insurance that also covers medical care and transport home if needed. All guests must either be COVID-19 vaccinated or show a negative test result not older than 48 hours.
HEMMA reserves the right to remove a participant from the retreat if their behaviour is disruptive.
HEMMA reserves the right to keep a guest liable if she/he brings damage to the house or belongings. The retreat guest is liable for loss and all damages (house, surrounding land, pool and all facilities) which arise during the stay.
HEMMA reserves the right the change the program, teachers or team members at all times.
HEMMA reserves the right to offer discretionary discounts. This does not affect the booking of any registered guests who have already paid the full price.
The organisers are not liable for any failures beyond its control. (natural disasters, closure of airports, accidents or failure to perform by third parties, including suppliers and subcontractors)
The organisers are not responsible for organizing accommodation or any of your travels and both have to be paid at own expense.
