My name Hemma means home in Swedish

What a fitting description for what I feel for my work, but also for my personal development and my path.

Finding home within yourself. That soothing feeling when you have arrived within yourself. When you can let your masks fall to show your true face. When you approach yourself with mindfulness, appreciation, and compassion. When you can accept all that was, what is, and what is yet to come, without judgment. The feeling of security and clarity.

I am Austrian and a globetrotter. Since my early youth, the wide world has been my home. I have lived in more than 15 countries and love to get to know new cultures and life philosophies. To be inspired by them and, with all the enriching influences, to consciously return to myself again and again.

My journey from burnout to inner peace, balance and an expanded consciousness

The first nearly 15 years of my professional life probably went the way most people know it. My days were characterized by far too full calendars, stress, and pressure.

At first, I worked for a fashion magazine, then my path continued in the creative industry, where I implemented TV commercials and various events. During the last years, I was active in the industry, where my field of activity was primarily online and content marketing. I commuted between Paris, London, and Berlin for meetings, was constantly on the move, and had the privilege of leading a team of motivated employees.

And despite the apparent top career, I felt empty and without purpose. I was burned out and just functioned. Added to this was the feeling of not living up to my own standards and not being able to withstand the comparison with others. My goals became higher and higher and the pressure increased. I was trapped in my own hamster wheel.

Time for myself fell by the wayside. Things that brought me joy, like family, friends, or travel, became a burden and felt like more pressure and responsibility. Sports were far too neglected, my physical health was in disharmony and gave me, among other things, two stomach ulcers.

Once you see,
you can't unsee it

Then the time suddenly came. During an Ayurvedic Panchakarma cure in Sri Lanka, I could finally clearly see what I already knew deep inside during the last years: It was time to take a new path! I suddenly became aware that this couldn't have been all there is and that there is so much more that wants to be lived and seen.

I was not happy and had not felt comfortable in my work environment for far too long. There it was, this no longer suppressible knowledge: It is time for change. And so I set out on a new exciting path. On the journey back home within myself. An adventure full of gifts, wisdom, achievements, and experiences.

4 Reasons to work with me

I know the challenges
of the corporate work world

1.

In my over 15 years of work in the creative industry and industry, I have seen and experienced many sides of the working world. I know the pressure of leading a team, meeting tight timings, and taking on budget responsibility in the millions. I have experienced firsthand when sleep becomes increasingly restless and you wake up at night full of thoughts and fears. What it's like when your head keeps rattling and you can't switch off anymore. Pressure, comparison, disappointment. Expectations and frustration. I love being able to let all these experiences flow into my offerings and spaces and give you tools to meet yourself with more mindfulness, self-care, and compassion.

I live modern spirituality
that includes

2.

At the beginning of my journey, I made a huge detour around the topic of spirituality. I thought that meditation would mean sitting on a stone for days with closed eyes, that essential oils were esoteric, and that spiritual people hug trees and wear hippie clothes. How much I was wrong in my narrow-minded, ignorant opinion became clear to me after a short time.

Today I know that spirituality can be everything. That it has an individual face for each of us. It can be simple rituals in everyday life that lead you back to your power and do you good. Or it can be wisdom & teachings from ancient traditions and long-passed down sciences. Spirituality integrates into every life model. Spirituality connects all life attitudes with each other – you can integrate it into your life at any moment.

I offer experiences
on a cellular level

3.

In my work, it's about creating experiences that let you have experiences. Impulse lectures stimulate the mind all the more again and usually remain only in theory. Yet we want to experience how it feels when, for example, the parasympathetic nervous system is activated and the body enters a state of rest. It's about getting out of the head and into the body and perceiving ourselves.

All the many tools that increase well-being only help if they are also applied practically. When your cells get new impulses and your subconscious is activated. This can happen through breathwork, the effect of medicinal plants like ceremonial cacao or essential oils, or also through music and movement. Without the practical experience, no real transformation can occur, there is no way around embodiment.

My spaces are
your safe haven

4.

I create experiences in which you can completely let go. You may put down your masks and roles. There are no expectations of you, there is nothing for you to do. If you want, you can "passively" absorb, observe, and silently turn inward. Or actively participate and show yourself. Whatever is useful to you in that particular moment and wants to be experienced by you.

My spaces are warm, open, loving, empathetic, and non-judgmental.
